Frankincense has been revered for centuries for its capacity to guard, cleanse and sharpen the mind. Used ceremonially, it can be ground into a powder with a mortar and pestle or spice grinder, then placed upon a lit incense charcoal in a safe heat-container and burned during a meditation or spell.
